for offense purpose, focus your production on axe & yellow horse
for defense purpose, focus your production on spears & swords
be sure not to rush your upgrade, because the higher points you have, the higher chance you will be attacked by others.

right now i can only produces spears and i have 12 of them. i think i built some pointless stuff in the beggining so i am running short on wood.

up to 500 points:
Focus on getting your resources, if you're not getting attacked, which you probably wont because you'll be one of the largest players around, dont build any troops yet. If you do get attacked, build a few spears and a wall.
Upgrade until you have the following, starting with resources, hq and warehouse, after that build the farm upgrade, the barracks, the wall and the market.
Village Headquarters (Level 5)
Barracks (Level 1)
Rally point (Level 1)
Market (Level 1)
Timber camp (Level 17)
Clay pit (Level 17)
Iron mine (Level 17)
Farm (Level 4)
Warehouse (Level 14)
Hiding place (Level 4)
Wall (Level 8)
500-600: points:
Slow points gain in this period, focus on building your defense. This order worked best for me:
1) upgrade barracks to lvl 5, farm to lvl 6.
2) build a smithy
3) research swords
4a) build 400 swords and 400 spears
4b) while the unit queue gets bigger and bigger, upgrade barracks to lvl 10 and do some farm upgrades.
Village Headquarters (Level 5)
Barracks (Level 10)
Smithy (Level 1)
Rally point (Level 1)
Market (Level 1)
Timber camp (Level 17)
Clay pit (Level 17)
Iron mine (Level 17)
Farm (Level 11)
Warehouse (Level 14)
Hiding place (Level 4)
Wall (Level 8)
600-1000: points:
Now its time to start farming other villages. to do so, we best have light cavalry. build in the following order:
1) clay and wood to lvl 20
2) iron and warehouse to lvl 18
3) build more defense until you have 1.5 per point again (you should have some spare iron)
4) upgrade HQ to lvl 10, then smithy to lvl 5
5) build stables and upgrade to lvl 3
6) research scouts and light cavalry
7) build 100 scouts and start scouting the villages around you, 3 at a time max, with max 20 scouts so you leave 40 scouts at home. put the names of villages without troops or with very little troops in your notebook
8) build 35 light cavalry, start attacking the villages you wrote down with all 35 cavalry at a time.
9a) from the resources you steal, build more cavalry
9b) from the resources you generate, build your wall up to level 15.
At 1000 points your village should look like this:
Village Headquarters (Level 10)
Barracks (Level 10)
Stables (Level 3)
Smithy (Level 5)
Rally point (Level 1)
Market (Level 1)
Timber camp (Level 20)
Clay pit (Level 20)
Iron mine (Level 18)
Farm (Level 16)
Warehouse (Level 18)
Hiding place (Level 4)
Wall (Level 15)
1000-2000: points:
In this stage we are going to get ready for warfare. We'll build up our resources to a point where we have a stable income. The sequence:
1) Build HQ to lvl 20
2) Build market to lvl 10
3) wood and clay to lvl 24
4) iron to lvl 22
5) make sure you have about 1400 swords and 1400 spears at the end, best start building spears first so you can save some iron for swords
6) also make sure you have around 500 scouts
At 2000 points, your village looks like:
Village Headquarters (Level 20)
Barracks (Level 10)
Stables (Level 3)
Smithy (Level 5)
Rally point (Level 1)
Market (Level 10)
Timber camp (Level 24)
Clay pit (Level 24)
Iron mine (Level 22)
Farm (Level 22)
Warehouse (Level 18)
Hiding place (Level 4)
Wall (Level 15)

how many pts you have right now? remember I said the higher you go the higher you attract attackers?
your army unit is way too low if you're around 500 pts total... when I had 500 pts, i had at least 1000 spears and 1000 swords.
again, don't rush your upgrade, concentrate on making troops and scouting for resource (from abandon villages) first.
