  • Jack Daniel's Switches Up Classic Label

    Jack Daniel's, the best-selling whiskey in the world, is making some tweaks to its label. The new label has a much cleaner and refined look, achieved by essentially getting rid of a whole bunch of stuff on the old label.

    Gone are the hodgepodge of various brand icons and in their place is a list of four aspects of the brand (mellowed, matured, tasted, awarded) with images. The text has been shortened significantly as well -- no longer is there information about how the whiskey is made, or what the population of Lynchburg, Tennessee is (but it is no longer 361 people like the old label indicated).

    The sleeker label doesn't change the recipe though, it just updates the look. See the old and new labels below.

    Im from only miles away from the Lynchburg Tennessee Jack Daniels plant... Used to go there all the time to get year 1890 single barrel whiskey!!! Might have to get some next time i go home to see the family to bring some to the next meet so everyone can try it.
