Hello Team, my name Ray Saladdin, and I am a new prospect member of the San Antonio Chapter. Starting from the beginning, I grew up in Northern California/Bay Area. I attended all four years of High School at Skyline High School in Oakland, CA and received my diploma. Right after H.S I joined the Military as a Signal Support Systems Specialist. Deployed a total of three times to Iraq in the time span of my 9 year Military career. In the Military I met a good friend who introduced me to Evo's. I received my Honorable Discharge voluntarily. I got out because I was starting a family and did not want to risk getting deployed again. After the Military I attended Universal Technical Institute in Houston, TX. While at UTI, I completed the Automotive Technology course and took an additional step and completed the Nissan Advanced Technician Training. Currently I am a General Manager at Fastenal Company here in Houston, TX. With Fastenal, it is very customer service oriented. In saying that, I really enjoy meeting new people when I can. I have been with Fastenal for a little over 3 years now. I have been married now for 7 years and have 3 beautiful children.
Why did i choose Team hybrid? I have only been with only 1 team since I have been in the car scene. It was a small local group here in Houston, that just did not fit what I was looking for. I know exactly what I am looking, and after reading about Team Hybrid on the website I laughed. This was exactly what I was looking to be a part of. A network of people who treats each other like a family. No matter the vehicle, it's all about being around and meeting good, and loyal people. I hope to become a long time member of this Team, and really look forward to meeting everyone within the Team one day.
Why Team Hybrid should choose me? I feel I will be a great fit for this Team because I like to incorporate everything this team stands for. If I become a member of this prestigious Team, I know that this will be the last Team for me. I will do everything I can to hold true the values this Team stands for and goes by. Being in the Military has taught me discipline and to be a great Team player. With Fastenal, it is all about working as Team, one of the reasons I applied years ago. I do not have a strong background in the car scene, but I will represent the Team, myself, and my ride with the best of my ability.
