  • Moving to Lompoc

Hello all. My name is Scott and I am active duty Air force. Currently I am stationed in Louisiana but will be moving to Lompoc CA. in a couple months. My wife and I have a 2000 Celica GTS Show car. We love the scene and enjoy exposing our kids to it as well. They are future tuners. The Celica is currently sponsored by JBL, Optima, Metra, 12vspotlight and luminicsbulbs.com. Just wanted to stop by and say hey. Also I look forward to meeting you guys in the near future at some events. Here are a few pics of the Celica and also one of my old school AMC Hornet.

Thanks guys for the welcome. So what is the scene like in Lompoc? I have found alot of muscle and classic shows which is cool for my wagon. However I am wondering about the import scene around there. Anyone have some incite for me.

It's a little thin up there.

So we will be making some road trips for the import shows. Looking forward to getting out there and seeing how it is.

Most shows are in and around LA area, such as.... Orange County, Irwindale, Pamona, Long Beach, Downtown LA. You can find small shows and meets all over, including Ventura County, SLO, Santa Barbara. These would be closer to you. If you want more, there are usually a couple of shows in San Diego too. All of the "big" shows are in LA area though.

Cool we will hit up as many as we can. The car has been down for a while because of the stereo and is going to be finished right before we leave. So I am itching to get it out on the scene.

welcome to the forums, the celica would look much better without the Fast and the Furious stickers!

They arent stickers!!!!!!!!!! They are painted on graphics. The paint job will be getting changed once we get out there and settled in.

There are a couple of shops that the guys usally frequent, and although I don't have any website info off-hand, they are: AAA Autobody in Pasedena and Spring Mountain Autobody in Las Vegas!
