1. COVER 2012!!! Almost 17 years later and we are still landing major covers. Not only is this one an honor even after all this time, but its the first issue of the 2012 year. Congratulations to NorCal Chapter's Kris' Turbo-Widebody G35 landing Cover of Import Tuner January 2012 issue. I promised all of you we would start 2012 with a bang. Remember, this is only a bang and the explosion is yet to follow.



2. Congratulations to LV Chapter's Tom Milroy's WRX Wagon for being selected and shot for a full feature article in an international magazine called Japanese Performance.



3. Congratulations to LV Chapter's Keoni Viernes' EVO IX for being selected and shot for 3full feature articles in the following: 1) Japanese Performance, 2) GR8 aka. Great Street Performace and 3) a book called I am tuned (Modified Rides Collectors Book). Can you believe this was all shot & completed in 1 week which was done last week. Live, breath and die Team Hybrid. Great work Keoni. I think this is a new record for the most mags shot for a single car in a week for our team. Setting standards.

Happy Chinese New Year! 2012 is the Year of the Dragon.

The building of a dream continues and once again, no signs of slowing down or letting up the greatness coming this year. There is no limits to our passion, dedication and innovation. 17+ years of fame and prime time moves, performance setting standards and accolades has been untouchable. Our team empire built on tradition, values, supportive sponsors, great members, hunnyz and leaders that's all still in place is very, very good and that will enable us to sustain the title as the oldest-most well rounded-best import team for a long time.

1. Congratulations to LV Chapter's Robert Green's xB for being featured and published in the Dec/Jan 2012 issue of PAS Magazine. We started the year banging with a full solo Cover feature in Import Tuner and now, this? Only 23 days into the new year and we have 2 major publications in 2 different major import magazines. What import team out there today can match this current accolade? .... ans., none (zero). This same thing happened at the start of last year and continued throughout the entire year of 2011.





2. Congratulations to LV Chapter's Mike Passarge's G8GT in the ARC Audio Booth @ CES International, LV - 01/10-13/12.





3. BIG NEWS!!! Team Hybrid has been selected as the only and exclusive import team in the USA to be sponsored and market BFGoodrich's newest tire called Sport Comp 2. That's right, you heard it here first. BFGoodrich will have a new model UHP tire out in the 2012 market to replace the KDW. The honor of being "the only import team" selected to debut this tire in the year of the dragon is truely another one of our greatest accolades. This Saturday @ our 17th Year Anniversary Party/January Meeting @ CS, we will rejoice in our never ending Hybrid Excellence.





4. Congratulations Team Hybrid. I just received word this week Meguiar's has approved our team for a full product "Team" sponsorship in 2012. This will be our 12th straight year. Our relationships are also growing stronger and stronger each year with our industry partners.



5. BIG NEWS!!! Team Hybrid has been selected as one of three import teams in the USA to be sponsored and market Meguiar's newest 2012 car care products called Gold Class Premium Quick Wax, Perfect Clarity Glass Cleaner, Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere, Hot Rims All Wheels & Tire Cleaner and Gold Class Premium Detailer. Once again, you heard it here first and furthermore, major Fortune 500 Companies (3M ranked 97 in 2011) selecting and working with the one and only Team Hybrid.



6. Congratulations to Team Hybrid for being officially signed and sponsored by Mishimoto for the 1st year. Not only is this a "team title" sponsorship, but we are currently the only import team under the "team title sponsor category" in 2012 in the USA Mishimoto sponsors.

8. BIG NEWS!!! A secret project with Sony has been approved and in the works with an estimated build time of 6 months. The sketches, budget and details has been layed out, planned and will be debuting the fully sponsored SONY car later this year. Prime time baby!




9. Congratulations to LV Chapter's Mike Passarge's G8GT for being sponsored with a set of BFGoodrich SSAS. Big things have already happened and plans are in the works for more to happen and debut next month later this year!

LINSanity! All this guy does as well as us is Lin Lin Lin! I'm sure all of you have heard by now regarding my long lost cousin, Jeremy Lin's recent NBA performances with the New York Knicks. He is also following in our footsteps. Look at what he also learned from us.

1. I have secretly told the team about this new model UHP tire from BFGoodrich since last year after SEMA and now, the new tire called BFGoodrich G-Force, Sport Comp-2 is here. BFGoodrich cordially invited me to attend the 1st ever, invite-only North American SC2 tire launch event on January 31 - February 1, 2012 in Riverside, Ca and the Auto Club Speedway. Lastly, Team Hybrid is also the only chosen import tuner team in the US to be sponsored and selected to aid in the marketing of the new BFG SC2 UHP tire to the import tuner world.

You cannot explain the mysteries of a virus or retardedness in some negative, egotistical, selfish & power hungry people, but you can say that you look at the box score of a team. A team is not judged by the home run hit in one inning, nor by the error in another inning, but the box score. When you look at the box score, Team Hybrid is a winner.
